Site Manager – Reading – Commercial New Build SchemeSalary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Car Allowance + Pension Location: Hampshire / Surrey / Berkshire We are partnering with a respected Hampshire‑based main contractor who, due to sustained growth and an £8 million+ commercial new build starting near Reading in the next couple of months, are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager as soon as possible. This Site Manager – Reading opportunity will see you working on a high‑quality new build commercial scheme, reporting directly into a site‑based Project Manager. With a clear long‑term development plan in place, the successful Site Manager will be positioned for progression into a more senior role over the next few years. Commercial

Healthcare
Residential (selected schemes)
You will be joining a structured and well‑established regional contractor operating across Hampshire, Surrey, and Berkshire, with long‑term opportunities to work on further schemes in and around Reading. Key Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager with day‑to‑day site operations
Oversee subcontractors, site logistics, and programme delivery
Ensure high standards of health & safety compliance
Deliver works on time, to specification, and to quality expectations
Coordinate with commercial and technical teams
Build and maintain strong relationships on site
About You
Experienced Site Manager or strong Assistant Site Manager ready to step up
Background in new build construction (commercial experience highly beneficial)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Proactive, dependable, and quality‑focused
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
