Job Description
Site Manager Greater Manchester \n\n6 month contract - potential permanent opportunities\n\nNegotiable £\n\nSellick Partnership are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a portfolio of refurbishment and minor construction projects for an FM organisation delivering works across council properties in Greater Manchester. Projects include bathroom refurbishments, electrical upgrades, and general building works across sites such as Sure Start Centres, museums, and other public buildings.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nManage day-to-day site operations across multiple projects within the Manchester area.\nCoordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring adherence to programme, quality standards, and H&S regulations.\nOversee bathroom refurbishments, electrical installations, and minor building works up to £70,000\nMonitor progress and report updates to line managers and the FM project team.\nEnsure all works comply with client specifications, council requirements, and industry standards.\nLiaise with clients, building users, and internal stakeholders to minimise disruption to operational buildings (e.g., community centres, museums).\nManage materials, site logistics, and ensure works are completed on time and within budget.\nMaintain good working relationships with operatives, sub-contractors, and external partners.Essential Qualifications & Experience:\n\nCSCS card\nSMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).\nFirst Aid at work certificate\nPrevious experience managing multiple small works or minor refurbishment projects.\nProven experience working in the public sectorIf you are interested in the role, please apply directly or contact Josh at the Derby Office.\n\nSellick Partnership is proud to be an inclusive and accessible recruitment business and we support applications from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances.
