Job Description
Site Manager – Social Housing Planned Works (Permanent Role)\n Location: South London & Kent\n\nWe are working with a Tier 1 contractor who are looking to grow their delivery team due to a very busy 2026 pipeline, with multiple social housing projects now being cleared through Gateway 2. As a result, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager on a permanent basis to deliver planned works across South London and Kent.\n\nThe role will involve managing a range of internal and external refurbishment projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, and cladding works, within occupied social housing properties.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDay-to-day management of site operations on social housing planned works projects\nOverseeing internal works (kitchens and bathrooms) and external works (roofing, cladding, associated repairs)\nManaging subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers\nEnsuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to required quality standards\nMaintaining strong health & safety compliance across sites\nLiaising professionally with , site teams, and project stakeholders\nCompleting site documentation, progress reports, and quality checksEssential Requirements\n\nPrevious experience as a Site Manager within social housing planned works\nProven experience managing both internal and external refurbishment projects\nSMSTS\nCSCS (Site Management level)\nFirst Aid at Work\nFull UK driving licence\nStrong organisational and communication skills\nExperience working in occupied propertiesWhat’s on Offer\n\nPermanent position with a Tier 1 contractor\nStrong, secured pipeline of work into 2026 and beyond\nProjects across South London and Kent\nCompetitive salary and benefits package\nLong-term stability and career progressionIf you are a Site Manager with a strong background in social housing planned works and are looking for a permanent role with a growing contractor, we’d like to hear from you
