We are looking for an experienced and motivated Site Manager t o join our Leeds depot team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of site operations, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring strong organisational and communication skills, as well as a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of site operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and project specifications. Plan and manage daily site operations, including labour, plant, and materials. Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings. Monitor site progress, maintain accurate records, and report to management on project performance. Liaise with clients, engineers, and management teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Carry out inspections to ensure quality standards and specifications are met. Identify and resolve issues or delays promptly to minimise project disruption. Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement on site. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as a Site Foreman/Manager (preferably in the Hire and Sales industry. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Good understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and construction processes. Sound knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and best practices. Competent in record keeping, reporting, and using site management tools. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Qualifications CSCS card (Supervisor level or higher). SSSTS / SMSTS certification (preferred). First Aid at Work certificate (advantageous). Full UK driving licence.
