Job Description
Your new company You will be working with a well‑established main contractor delivering a high‑profile rejuvenation project in Aberdeen. The organisation has a strong reputation for quality, safety and collaborative working, and they are seeking an experienced freelance Site Manager to support the next phase of this programme.
Your new role You will take responsibility for managing day‑to‑day site activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining progress against programme and ensuring all works are delivered safely and to specification. You will oversee quality checks, site documentation, inductions, permits and toolbox talks, while acting as a key point of contact for the project team. This is a freelance position requiring a hands‑on, proactive manager who can maintain high standards and keep the project moving efficiently.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment, rejuvenation or complex build projects Strong understanding of H&S regulations, site compliance and RAMS Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage daily site operations Excellent communication and leadership skills SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (minimum requirements)
