Foyne Jones Recruitment is working with a well-established civils contractor delivering a critical works package on a fast-track Data Centre project in the Didcot area. We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with proven Data Centre civils exposure to support safe, high-quality delivery on a technically demanding scheme.

This role would suit a Site Manager who is detail-driven, methodical, and comfortable operating within live, high-pressure environments where programme certainty and quality assurance are essential.
\nThe Role - Site Manager\n
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations across the civils package, including piling, RC foundations, internal foul drainage, and internal MV services installation. Working closely with the Project Manager, the Site Manager will ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, programme, and client expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

\n \n Managing daily site activities as Site Manager, ensuring safe and efficient execution of works
\n
\n
\n Coordinating subcontractors and labour across multiple civils disciplines
\n
\n
\n Reviewing drawings and short-term programmes to plan and sequence site operations
\n
\n
\n Completing material take-offs and supporting timely procurement
\n
\n
\n Maintaining high standards of workmanship, ensuring inspections and test documentation are fully completed
\n
\n
\n Providing clear, accurate weekly progress updates to the Project Manager
\n
\n
\n Supporting client and stakeholder interactions as required
\n
\n
\nAbout You - Site Manager\n
\n \n Demonstrable experience as a Site Manager on Data Centre civils projects
\n
\n
\n Strong background in civils construction, particularly RC foundations, piling, and drainage
\n
\n
\n A detail-focused Site Manager who understands the importance of quality, compliance, and documentation
\n
\n
\n Confident working under pressure on fast-track programmes
\n
\n
\n Professional, structured approach to site management and communication
\n
\n
\n
