Candidate required: Site Manager\nJob Type: Freelance\nStart date: End of March \nIndustry: Construction Professionals\nLocation: Christchurch\nDuration: 10 Months \n \nThe role & about the client:\nITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a reputable residential construction firm delivering high quality construction projects. This client takes pride in producing durable, well finished work while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors. This client is looking for a Site Manager to join the team for a 10 month project and looking for a candidate to join the team on their Christchurch project. \n\nKey responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\n \nOversee the day to day running of the construction site \nCoordinate subcontractors, trades, suppliers and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow \nEnsure works are carried out in accordance with project drawings, specifications and programme requirements \nMaintain clear communication with Project Manager and wider project team \nEnforce site health and safety standards in line with company policies and statutory regulations \nConduct site inductions, toolbox talks and regular safety inspections \nMaintain high standards of workmanship across all trades \nOversee snagging, finishing works and final quality inspections \nSupport the project team in achieving a smooth and successful project handover \nMonitor progress against the construction programme \nManage site logistics including deliveries, materials etc \nAct as key point of contact on site for clients, consultants and inspectors \nMaintain accurate site records including daily diaries, inspections and progress reports The ideal candidate will have:\n \nRelevant tickets- SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS card \nProven experience working as a Site Manager on a residential project \nStrong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with team \nProactive, detail-orientated and able to work independently in a fast paced environment \nCommitted to maintaining high health, safety, and environmental standards How to apply:\nIf you're interested in this freelance opportunity, please apply with your updated CV or contact ITS Building People for more details.\n \nEqual Opportunities:\nThe ITS Group is committed to promoting equal opportunities in employment.
