Freelance Site Manager – Civil Engineering / Water Infrastructure\n\nLocation: Bournemouth\nRate: Competitive Day Rate\nDuration: 12 Months\n\nAbout the Role\n\nBond Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager on behalf of a well-established civil engineering contractor specialising in water infrastructure, pipeline works and environmental projects.\n\nOur client has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality schemes safely, on time and within budget, often across technically challenging projects within the utilities sector.\n\nDue to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to appoint a Site Manager on a freelance basis.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will be responsible for managing site operations across civil engineering and water infrastructure projects, ensuring safe delivery and maintaining programme and quality standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Day-to-day management of site operations on pipeline and civil engineering projects\n\n * Supervision of subcontractors, direct labour and plant\n\n * Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, budget and quality expectations\n\n * Driving a strong health & safety culture on site\n\n * Liaising with clients, engineers and key stakeholders\n\n * Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation\n\n * Reporting progress to senior management\n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering / utilities / water sector\n\n * Strong background in pipeline works, drainage, or infrastructure projects\n\n * SMSTS (essential)\n\n * CSCS Card (Black or Gold )\n\n * First Aid ()\n\n * EUSR Water Hygiene (desirable)\n\n * Strong leadership and communication skills\n\n * Ability to manage programmes and deliver under pressure\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * Competitive freelance day rate\n\n * Opportunity to work with a respected contractor in the water & infrastructure sector\n\n * Long-term pipeline of projects\n\n * Immediate start available
