Site Manager - Social Housing Disrepair£45k - £50k + packageBased in HackneyFull-Time, permanent positionWe are working with a leading Social Housing Contractor to recruit a proactive Disrepair Site Manager to join their team in Hackney.You must have a minimum of two years' experience managing and resolving legal disrepair cases, delivering similar projects for a reputable main contractor. You will have a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, while ensuring health and safety standards are consistently maintained across site operations.We are seeking a hands-on Site Manager with a strong track record of successfully driving projects forward through effective leadership, organisation, and consistent site presence. The ideal candidate will be confident overseeing day-to-day site activities, coordinating contractors, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and programme delivery, for this role we would look at a Supervisor that wants to step up.Site Manager Duties:Supervise and manage the disrepair maintenance technicians and contractorsManage the inspection, maintenance and repair of properties in order to ensure that properties are repaired/maintained with a first time fix approach for Disrepair work within the targets set within the disrepair protocol or that have been established with the party issuing the claimControlling the overall direction and whilst maintaining financial control of the contractWork in partnership with the client and client representatives, to ensure that a high quality service delivery is actually providedCost control and subcontractor managementImplementing the short, mid and long term programmes for the various work streamsCarry out onsite inspections, undertake investigations, enquiries, prepare reports and offer solutions maintaining continuous improvementHand over properties on time, working to strict key performance indicatorsLiaison with the client and contract administratorsHealth and safety on the siteManagement and control of the site administration and staffScheduling and procurement of materialsChair sub-contractor progress meetingsLiaising with Design Teams, Client Representatives and ConsultantsProgramming works using MS ProjectYou will be working for a modern, forward thinking business; that believes the strengths, skills and personalities of their people are the key to the groups success.
