Jobstore is recruiting for a Site Maintenance Worker to join our client's leading manufacturing operation based in Bolton. We are looking for a positive and self-motivated individual with a professional approach who can undertake general factory support activities as well as multi-skilled general mechanical and electrical maintenance duties. The role will include, but will not be limited to; - General site support and maintenance - Opening and closing site, monitoring and maintaining facilities and services on site - general service checks and upgrading fixtures and fittings. - Routine supplier management for 3rd party contractor work. - Ongoing Project work - improving facilities to support new workspaces. Including general fabrication and carpentry, painting general areas, clearing areas, basic woodwork/metalwork. - General shop floor maintenance preventative maintenance on machinery. Full guidance and training will be provided, but a good level of tool use is expected. Tasks could include clean-downs, checking pressures, looking for leaks, or fitting replacement parts etc. This business is willing to up-skill applicants that can fulfil most of these requirements but may need some additional support in certain areas.
