Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Site Fitter with experience in the installation of architectural metalwork to join our site team. The ideal candidate will hold a NVQ Level 2 in a relevant discipline (e.g., Site Installation of Architectural Metalwork or Steelwork Erection) and be confident working from drawings to install a variety of metal elements in both residential and commercial construction settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Install a range of architectural metalwork components including:

Balustrades and handrails Staircases (feature and structural) Canopies, balconies, and walkways Railings, gates, and bespoke steel features

Work from technical drawings and site measurements to ensure accurate and high-quality installations Use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely and competently Collaborate with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflows and timely completion Carry out installation tasks in line with Health & Safety standards and site-specific RAMS Ensure correct fixing methods, alignments, and finishes are achieved Maintain high standards of workmanship, particularly with aesthetically sen...
