About the Role

Peace Recruitment Services are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join major civil engineering projects across Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a large-scale infrastructure development, playing a key role in ensuring works are delivered accurately, safely, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

* Setting out and surveying works using total station and GPS equipment

* Reading, interpreting, and verifying engineering drawings and specifications

* Monitoring levels, dimensions, and quality of ongoing works

* Assisting in resolving technical issues in collaboration with engineers and site management

* Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are achieved

* Maintaining accurate site records, reports, and as-built surveys

* Supporting compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements

* Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)

* Valid CSCS card

* Proven experience as a Site Engineer on large civil or infrastructure projects

* Proficiency with total stations, GPS, and surveying equipment

* Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills

* Commitment to high standards of quality, safety, and performance

Desirable

* First Aid or additional health & safety qualifications
