Site Engineer – Residential | Bath | 13 Month Contract

Buildforce are recruiting for a main contractor currently delivering a prestigious £32 million residential development in the beautiful city of Bath. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional and experienced site team on a project that will make a real mark on the local skyline.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join the project for the full duration of the build. Working within a 5 storey residential scheme, you will take ownership of all setting out activities and quality assurance processes, ensuring the project is delivered to the highest standards throughout.

Key Responsibilities

* All setting out on a 5 storey residential structure, ensuring works are built in line with drawings and specifications

* Implementing and maintaining QA procedures and documentation across all stages of the project

* Working closely with the site management team, subcontractors, and design consultants to resolve technical issues

* Completing as-built records, inspection and test plans, and snagging processes

* Ensuring compliance with current building regulations, tolerances, and project specifications

* Supporting the wider site team with day-to-day engineering tasks as required

Requirements

* Demonstrable experience as a Site Engineer on residential, RC frame, or similarly structured projects

* Confident in all aspects of setting out using total station and relevant survey equipment

* Solid understanding of QA systems and documentation

* Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline

* CSCS card (essential)

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently on site

* Available for the full 13 month duration of the project
