My client is a long established, leading Civil Engineering Contractor.

Due to planned growth and an influx of work in their Southwestern Region, they are looking to appoint, on a permanent basis or a long term contract basis (12 months) a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer to work on projects in the Southwest and initially in Paignton, Devon.

Initially, you will be managing civil engineering projects predominantly in the water and wastewater sectors.

Setting out roads, structures and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations) Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management) Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD.
