Job Description

My client is a long established, leading Civil Engineering Contractor.

Due to planned growth and an influx of work in their Southwestern Region, they are looking to appoint, on a permanent basis or a long term contract basis (12 months+) a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer to work on projects in the Southwest and initially in Paignton, Devon.

Initially, you will be managing civil engineering projects predominantly in the water and wastewater sectors.

  • Setting out roads, structures and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)
  • Assist with quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
  • Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
  • Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement
  • Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
  • Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
  • Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD.
