Role: Site Engineer Skillset: Civil engineering / construction management Job location: West Gate Ventilation Shaft Site, London W5 1UP

Role Reporting to the Headhouse Sub-Agent responsible for the following structural and architectural fit-out subcontractor packages (RC, structural steel, cladding, roofing, blockwork, doors, resin flooring, internal metalwork and other miscellaneous fit-out packages)

A site engineer with both civil/structural and architectural fit-out experience would be an excellent fit.

Key Responsibilities

-Day to day work site coordination and planning to ensure the works are carried out safely and efficiently -Working with the subcontractor to ensure the timely preparation Risk Assessment Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans, Permits, Consents etc for the works and that these are implemented. -Ensuring Permit to Dig, Temporary Works, other permits and other safety systems are implemented -Liaison with the Section Foreman to ensure the adherence to safe methods of work. Attend the daily coordination meetings with other engineers and the foreman to plan the next day's work. -Ensuring all temporary works needs are identified sufficiently early and completed in accordance with the relevant procedures. -Ensuring all quality checks are carried out in accordance with the ITP's and properly recorded.
