Site Agent – Water Sector (Wastewater Treatment)
Location: Bolton, North West
Salary: £350–£425 per day (DOE)
Contract Type: Freelance / Contract
A respected and growing main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join their team on a wastewater treatment plant project in Bolton. With a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming work across key North West frameworks, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business with long-term prospects and a solid reputation in the water sector.
The Role:
You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role will involve close coordination with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all site activities on wastewater treatment projects
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
* Manage site teams and subcontractors effectively
* Monitor progress against programme and drive productivity
* Maintain accurate site records and reporting
* Liaise with stakeholders and contribute to project planning
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Agent within the water sector (wastewater treatment preferred)
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* CSCS (essential)
* SMSTS (essential)
* First Aid at Work (desirable)
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
