Job Description

Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading principal contractor in the Energy from Waste sector to recruit a Mechanical Site Supervisor on a contract basis for its Leeds site. \n\nThe Mechanical Site Supervisor role comes with a day rate of £450.\n\nKey skills required for the Mechanical Site Supervisor role\n\nSupervise piping construction activities during day and night shifts to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and drawings.\nCoordinate piping crews and subcontractors to meet daily and weekly work targets.\nDevelop and prepare Bills of Materials (BoM) required for snag rectification and outstanding works.\nCoordinate with engineering, quality, and construction teams to resolve technical issues and discrepancies.\nConduct site inspections and participate in walkdowns with clients and third-party inspectors as required.\nEnforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements and always promote safe working practices.\nMust have experience in working on an EFW (Energy from Waste) plant in construction / handover\nSite Supervisor experience with experience in mechanical snagging closures. \n\nLocation, day rate and timeframe of the Mechanical Site Supervisor role \n\nLeeds\nOutside IR35\n£450.00 Per Day\nDays/Nights/Weekends\nImmediate Start\n4 month contract \n\nINDPOW\n\nAstute People are acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy.
