Chemical Cleaning Technician
Location: Hampton Roads, VA (Field work aboard U.S. Navy vessels and in industrial settings)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Chemical Cleaning Technician to support field service projects including filtration, hydro-blasting, flushing, testing, and chemical cleaning. This is a hands-on role ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the industrial services industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesField Services:
Perform job tasks including filtration, flushing, hydro-blasting, chemical cleaning, and testing.
Follow detailed work plans and procedures while adapting to field conditions when necessary.
Communicate updates to supervisors, co-workers, and clients to ensure project success.
Equipment Maintenance & Prep:
Service, maintain, repair, and test tools and equipment before and after projects.
Assist with loading and unloading equipment as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Documentation & Safety:
Read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural guidelines.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and client requirements.
What We’re Looking ForQualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in chemical cleaning, flushing, or industrial services is , but not required.
On-the-job training is available for fast learners with a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude.
Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
Ability to read and understand technical documents, safety guidelines, and equipment manuals.
