Job Title: Shipping & Logistics Coordinator\nLocation: Stockport\nSalary: £33,000 – £38,000 per year\nPosition Type: Full-Time\n\nAbout the Role:\nMy Manufacturing/Engineering client is looking for a proactive Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to join our busy Logistics team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with international shipping experience who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will report to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager and play a key role in ensuring our products are delivered accurately and on time to our global customer base.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\n\n * Coordinate and oversee the delivery of products domestically and internationally\n\n * Collaborate with clients, freight forwarders, and haulage providers to ensure first-class service\n\n * Manage customer orders from planning to delivery, resolving any issues proactively\n\n * Prepare and check shipping documents, including Dangerous Goods notes (training provided)\n\n * Arrange pre-shipment inspections, Certificates of , and liaise with shipping lines\n\n * Assist with aftersales despatch issues and ensure customer complaints are resolved quickly\n\n * Support weekly and monthly KPI reporting for the department\n\nSkills & Experience:\n\n * Experience in exporting/importing goods internationally (Road, Air & Ocean)\n\n * SAP knowledge or willingness to train (SAP experience desirable)\n\n * Exposure to multi-product manufacturing environments\n\n * Knowledge of shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, EUR1, C of O, LOC, Insurance schedules)\n\n * Dangerous Goods handling (training provided if not already qualified)\n\n * Strong communication skills and customer focus\n\n * Accurate data entry and attention to detail\n\n * Able to work under pressure and as part of a team\n\nWhy Join Us?\n\n * Competitive salary: £33,000 – £38,000 per year\n\n * Full SAP training provided – ideal if you’re looking to develop your logistics expertise\n\n * Work on international shipments and gain exposure to global logistics processes\n\n * Be part of a supportive, collaborative team in a growing manufacturing business
