Responsible for one of the following tunnelling related activities, taking a significant role in delivery as well as managing aspects of safety and quality control: RC Works – Cross Passage Secondary collar RC Works – Tunnel Walkways Tunnel Finishing Works – tunneling services decommissioning, concrete repairs Will acquire technical (engineering/ tunnelling), leadership and project management skills and experience Key Responsibilities Construction and Setting out Lead setting out and dimensional control for all reinforced concrete works, including: Cross-Passage secondary collars, Tunnel walkways and plinths, RC interfaces with existing tunnel lining and services Verify and check formwork, reinforcement, and embedded items prior to concrete pours to ensure compliance with design and tolerance.
