The Just Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting for a Shift Production Operator for a manufacturer, based in Witham, Essex.
The job is shift work across seven days (4 on and 4 off - 6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am), and involves operating food manufacturing machinery, updating paper records and some IT data input, cleaning responsibilities and does involve a high degree of solo working.
Our client is looking for a responsible, proactive individual to join a small team.
Responsibilities will include:
* Operating filling equipment, cooler and product storage plant
* Liaison with staff to determine availability of raw materials
* Movement of product to final store
* Sampling of product
* General cleanliness of production areas, conveying equipment, coolers etc.
* Record keeping in line with quality procedures
Experience in production line operations in the food and beverage sector and knowledge of HACCP would be advantageous.
