A well-established global manufacturing organisation is looking for a multiskilled Shift Maintenance Engineer , electrically biased, to support production operations on rotating shifts. The role is focused on ensuring high equipment reliability, rapid response to breakdowns, and effective engineering support to keep 24/7 production running smoothly. This position involves hands-on maintenance, problem-solving, and working closely with production teams to deliver continuous improvements and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and ensure availability of production and ancillary equipment throughout the shift.
Serve as the first point of contact for operators when technical or process issues arise.
Support shift leaders by addressing daily engineering concerns quickly and effectively.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and contribute to the ongoing development of the sites CMMS.
Perform unplanned/reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and maintain optimum production output.
