Position Overview The Lead Shift Engineer will oversee both planned and reactive maintenance, coordinate resources and stakeholders, and ensure sites operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role requires technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Key Responsibilities Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on all mechanical and electrical plant equipment in line with site schedules and asset lists. Respond promptly to reactive maintenance tasks, identifying and implementing improvements where needed. Diagnose and resolve plant faults to maintain operational efficiency. Perform statutory maintenance tasks per SFG20 specifications. Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts and prepare parts lists and timescales for remedial tasks. Issue permits for in-house and subcontractor works in line with contractual requirements. Complete accurate documentation for PPM, reactive maintenance, and breakdowns, submitting to the contract administrator promptly. Build strong working relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, and client representatives. Present a professional image to clients at all times. Maintain plant rooms in a safe, clean, and orderly condition. Ensure all work is completed with strict adherence to health & safety standards, SLAs, and KPIs.
