Job Description

SHEQ Advisor - Energy (T&D / Distribution Projects)\nLocation: Multiple Sites (Coventry, Tamworth, Nuneaton, Cheltenham, Gloucester)\nContract: Temporary (Outside IR35)\nStart Date: 20/04/2026 (ASAP)\nEnd Date: 10/07/2026\nRate: £350 - £500 per day Outside IR35 (DOE)\nHours: 08:00 - 17:00 (5 days per week)\n\nThe Role:\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to support a portfolio of live energy distribution projects across multiple UK sites.\nThis role will involve working across several locations on a rotating basis (typically one site per day), ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance are maintained throughout project delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nConduct regular Health & Safety inspections across live project sites\nProvide expert SHEQ advice and guidance to site teams and management\nEnsure high safety standards are consistently maintained\nReview and approve RAMS where required\nDeliver Toolbox Talks (TBTs) and safety briefings\nCarry out incident investigations and reporting when necessary\nRequirements:\n\nNEBOSH Construction Certificate (Essential)\nStrong background working on energy, utilities, or infrastructure projects\nExperience across multi-site operations\nAbility to engage effectively with site teams and drive safety culture\nAdditional Information:\nRole will cover 8 sites total:\n\n4 in Coventry\n1 in Tamworth\n1 in Nuneaton\n1 in Cheltenham\n1 in GloucesterCandidates based in the Coventry / Birmingham region will be ideally suited due to travel requirements\nOutside IR35 engagement\n\nIf you're an experienced SHEQ professional available for your next contract and looking to support critical UK energy infrastructure projects, get in touch to discuss further.\n\nSearch is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, , /beliefs, or
