Sheet Metal WorkerLocation: Huddersfield Hours: 38.75 hours per week Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pmFriday: 7:00am – 11:45am Overtime: Paid after 38.75 hours at time and a half Salary: £30,517 – £41,820 (depending on experience)A UK engineering and manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their fabrication team.Key Responsibilities Support daily fabrication operations within the production teamManufacture and finish components to company specifications and quality standardsRead and interpret engineering and fabrication drawingsWork with steel and fabricated components in line with production requirementsPrioritise workload in line with project plans and deadlinesEnsure work is completed within cost and time targetsAssist with maintenance of equipment when requiredSupport quality assurance procedures and company standardsContribute to R&D and process improvement activities where required Candidate RequirementsEssential: Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environmentAbility to read and work from technical engineering drawingsExperience with welding and fabrication processesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong planning and workload management skillsAwareness of health and safety in a workshop environment Desirable: Experience with sheet metal fabricationStainless steel fabrication experienceExperience in FMCG industries (food, beverage, pharma, etc.)Background in a structured fabrication department ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
