Impact Recruitment are recruiting for Sewing Machinists from the Shoe Industry to join our client, manufacturing luxury goods on a long-term basis.

*YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THE SHOE INDUSTRY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE*

Location: Northampton

Shift: Monday-Thursday 07:30am-16:30pm, and 7:30am- 12:30pm

Pay Rate: £12.21/hr

Duties:

Accurately operating a Flat bed & Post bed Sewing Machine
Preparing & Skiving Leather for sewing
Stitch marking & Hole punching of leather
Supporting other production operatives to produce high-quality goods
Regularly & consistently quality checking productsThe ideal candidate must:

Have previous sewing machine experience in the Shoe Industry
Display a desire to learn about the industry and the nature of the business
Be able to regularly commute to work each day
Have proven work experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Be able to consistently hit production KPI's
