Service Technician – Billericay – Facility Management

£23000-£25000 + Benefits

A leading Facility Management Consultancy who specialises in health and safety across commercial sites are recruiting for a Service Technician. Focusing on specifically kitchen extraction and ventilation hygiene across commercial buildings, offices, hospitality, retail, and government sites.

As a Service Technician, your main duties will include:

* Carry out checks and assessments on kitchen extraction systems

* Clean, replace, and reinstall canopy filters to ensure hygiene standards

* Support installation of access panels and perform fire damper inspections

* Keep accurate site documentation in line with fire safety and industry regulations

* Assist the team with general maintenance tasks to ensure smooth site operations

The Service Technician will need:

* Have worked within a maintenance environment such as cleaning, construction, building services or facility management

* Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with clients

* Comfortable working in confined spaces and hands-on environments

* Physically fit and ready for active, practical work

* Full driving license

* Flexibility to work outside normal hours including evening work

This Service Technician role is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop professional skills, and earn recognised qualifications while working across a variety of sites in a supportive, learning-focused environment.

All work is planned 2 months in advance to ensure the Service Technician can maintain a good work/life balance.
