As a Service Technician, youll play a crucial role and your work will have a direct impact on improving the quality of life for individuals in needincluding supporting the NHS, hospitals and care homes to deliver essential services. What Youll Be Doing Youll maintain and service medical equipment, ensuring high standards of care and customer satisfaction. Youll be responsible for installations, collections, repairs and cleaning in line with infection control policies. Key Responsibilities: Service and repair Drive DeVilbiss and competitor products Plan daily tasks for maximum efficiency Carry out unplanned and PPM and repairs Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers Deliver exceptional customer service Handle equipment safely and follow health & safety protocols Maintain van stock and complete accurate paperwork Participate in the on-call rota Support additional duties as required by management

What Were Looking For

Training will be provided for the right candidate. Manual handling and driving skills Emotional resilience when working with vulnerable customers Knowledge of medical equipment such as profiling beds, hoists, wheelchairs, and more Understanding of infection control and inventory management Familiarity with LOLER regulations and service administration would be advantageous

Please note: The usual working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 based at Ulster hospital as a Service Technician. However there will be occasional cover required for our field based installer / collectors, who work 4 on 4 off shifts so you must be able to work occasional 12 hour days. A company van will be provided for travelling to and from sites only and not for commuting. Other desirable skills and experience: PAT Testing First Aid Fire Warden certification
