Dudley Motor Company, part of the Worcester Carsales Group, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to lead our busy Vauxhall Service Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with a proven track record in the motor trade to join a well-established, customer-focused dealership.

About the Role:

As Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our service department, managing a team of skilled technicians and service advisors to deliver the highest standards of customer care, productivity, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the service team to achieve departmental targets
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention through excellent service
  • Manage workshop loading, efficiency, and quality control
  • Monitor financial performance, budgets, and key metrics (CSI, WIP, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and company policies
  • Work closely with other departments to optimise aftersales performance

About You:

  • Must have proven experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager within a franchised dealership
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to drive profitability
  • Knowledge of DMS systems and manufacturer service processes
