Company Overview – Fire & Security Service Manager
Our client is a well-established and highly respected provider of fire and security solutions, delivering installation, service and maintenance across a wide range of commercial and critical environments. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service Manager to oversee regional service operations and lead a team of engineers delivering high-quality support to key clients.
This role would suit a technically strong service professional with leadership experience within the fire and security industry who is comfortable managing engineers, service delivery and customer relationships.
Fire & Security Service Manager – Role and Responsibilities
• Lead, motivate and support a regional team of Fire & Security Service Engineers • Manage the delivery of service, maintenance and reactive works across Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards including fire safety regulations and company procedures • Conduct site audits and quality checks to maintain exceptional service standards • Act as the key escalation point for technical, operational and customer-related issues • Develop strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and contract retention • Oversee engineer scheduling, workload management and regional resource planning • Provide technical guidance, mentoring and ongoing support to field engineers • Identify commercial opportunities including system upgrades, lifecycle replacements and remedial works • Report on service performance, KPIs and operational updates to senior management • Ensure all regional activities meet health & safety requirements
Fire & Security Service Manager – Skills and Experience Required
• Strong background within the Fire & Security industry • Previous experience managing or supervising a team of field-based engineers • Technical knowledge of Fire Alarm systems alongside CCTV, Access Control and Intruder systems • Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills • Ability to manage service escalations and resolve technical issues efficiently • Full UK Driving Licence (Essential) • Experience working with leading fire and security system manufacturers • Proactive approach with strong problem-solving and customer service skills
