Service Engineer - South\nOTE £39,000 | Basic £32,000 + Overtime + On-Call + Bonus\n\nA leading UK provider of industrial doors and loading bay solutions is looking to recruit a Service Engineer to support continued growth across the South of England. The business is well-established, supplying major names across retail, logistics, and distribution, with a strong reputation for service quality and long-term customer relationships.\n\nThe Role:\nYou'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial doors and loading bay equipment across a regional patch, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational performance.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nService, maintenance, and repair of industrial doors and dock equipment\nFault finding, diagnostics, and breakdown response\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)\nProvide clear service reports and recommendations\nIdentify additional works and support conversion of quotes\nSupport installations when required\nDeliver a high standard of customer service on-siteRequirements:\n\nBackground in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or similar engineering discipline\nField service experience (industrial doors or similar equipment desirable)\nStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skills\nComfortable working independently and customer-facing\nFlexibility to travel and participate in on-call rota (1 in 5)Package:\n\nBasic salary £32,000\nOTE £39,000 (including overtime and on-call)\nOvertime paid at enhanced rates\n£240/week on-call allowance\n£34/night stay-away allowance\nCommission (2.5%-5% on parts sales)\nCompany van, tools, PPE\n25 days holiday + bank holidays\nPension, life assurance, sick pay\nGym contribution + perks platform\nOngoing training and developmentThis is a strong opportunity to join a growing, people-focused organisation offering stability, development, and long-term career prospects.\n\nWR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
