Compressed Air Service Engineer

North London & Hertfordshire OR Essex & East London

Full time, permanent

Monday - Friday

Salary: £35,000 £45,000 (DOE)
Our client is a well-established specialist provider of compressed air, vacuum and gas generation solutions. They support customers across a wide range of industries with system design, installation, servicing, breakdown support and energy-efficient compressed air solutions.

With a strong reputation for technical expertise and customer service, they work closely with their clients to ensure reliable, efficient and compliant compressed air systems.


The Role

Our client is now looking to recruit an experienced Compressed Air Service Engineer to cover either:

North London & Hertfordshire, or

Essex & East London

You will be field-based, attending customer sites carrying out servicing, maintenance, breakdowns and installations of compressed air systems and associated equipment.

You will work as part of a highly experienced engineering team, reporting into the Service Management team who will plan and allocate your daily workload.


Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain, repair and install compressed air systems and ancillary equipment

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on compressors and air treatment equipment

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

Attend breakdowns and carry out effective fault finding and repair

Complete accurate service reports and documentation

Build strong working relationships with customers

Represent the business professionally on customer sites


Requirements

Proven experience working as a Compressed Air / Service Engineer

Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability

Experience maintaining and repairing compressed air systems

Ability to work independently on customer sites

Full UK driving licence

Strong communication and customer service skills

Organised and reliable with good time management


Desirable

Experience working across a variety of industrial and commercial environments

Relevant engineering qualification (mechanical or electrical)

Experience with dryers, receivers, pipework and air treatment systems

Basic IT skills for job reporting
