SEN/Mental Health Teaching Assistant - Bristol
A supportive mainstream school in Lawrence Weston, Bristol, is seeking a long-term SEN/Mental Health Teaching Assistant to start immediately. The school caters to students aged 11-16 with complex needs, communication challenges, and behavioural difficulties, with a strong focus on wellbeing and therapeutic support.
Role Overview:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support * Support learning, emotional wellbeing, and social skills * Encourage positive decision-making and resilience * Work alongside professionals (e.g., psychologists, therapists) * Great experience for aspiring Therapists or Psychologists
Details:
* £90-£100/day (DOE) * Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm * Graduate-friendly (Psychology, Criminology) * DBS required (we can help with this)
Requirements:
* Degree in a relevant subject OR solid academic background with SEN experience * Passion for supporting young people with additional needs
