Facultative Property Senior / Underwriter

Competitve Salary

• This role will be underwriting Property Facultative business but from a range of industries – personal lines, power, engineering, UK commercial, real estate, global property, wholesale property, construction, oil and gas, renewables, etc – if the business comes in from London, they can write business anywhere in the world
• Jurisdictions – global, but write about 70% UK business at the moment
• You will have authority to Underwrite from the get-go, depending on level
• The role will be a mix of new/existing business, strong relationships with clients so may be allocated some accounts
• Deal with all types of business – Syndicates, UK composite insurers, smaller regional companies
• Hybrid – 3 days in the office
• Open to a Broking background too, but Underwriting background is preference, and if Broking – ideally some form of Underwriting in the past
