Job Description

Hybrid Onsite 5 days/week, alternating weeks in either Manchester, NH, Irving, TX, or New York, NY.

The Senior Software Engineer will develop, test, deliver, and support workflow-driven features that power client interactions on a platform. The role will collaborate with technical leads and product managers to translate complex business processes into robust, maintainable code using such as Python and JavaScript. The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ownership of automation and testing, and disciplined use of source control and CI/CD. The team operates like a startup within a larger organization to build and scale new fintech products.

Rate: $70.00 to $80.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, and support workflow logic that drives client interactions on the private shares platform. Collaborate with technical leads and product managers to refine requirements and inform product direction. Build, deploy, and support production web applications using such as Python and JavaScript. Apply automation and testing strategies to ensure code robustness and reliability. Use source control and CI/CD tools and practices to maintain high-quality delivery. Research and prototype growth opportunities and new technologies to extend the platform. Collaborate closely with teammates, share knowledge, and contribute to engineering excellence.

Experience Requirements

Proven experience building, deploying, and supporting production web applications with Python and/or JavaScript. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex customer needs and transactions. Hands-on experience with source code management and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub and Jenkins. Demonstrated ownership of automation and testing to ensure code quality. Ability to learn new technologies and patterns and adapt to changing requirements. Collaborative mindset with a passion for engineering excellence.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
