Our client, a community development charity based in East London, is seeking a Senior Wellbeing Coordinator to join their team. Working within the Wellbeing team, you will play a key role in delivering their services by providing compassionate, person-centred emotional support to individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis, are at risk of entering one, or are on a path to recovery. You will help to de-escalate individuals in distress, carry out holistic assessments, provide tailored 1:1 support, assist with the delivery of group activities, and ensure appropriate signposting and referrals to relevant services. Key responsibilities include: Lead in delivering immediate, non-judgemental emotional support to individuals presenting in crisis, using trauma-informed and person-centred approaches. Coordinate and deliver the de-escalation of high-distress situations, working collaboratively with staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment for both service users and team members. Conduct and quality-assure comprehensive initial assessments, identifying complex needs, risk factors, and safeguarding concerns while ensuring all documentation meets internal and external standards.
