Role: Senior/Lead Verification & Validation Engineer

Location: Bristol (3–4 days on-site)

Salary: Circa £57,000 DOE

Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK National

Our highly reputable client is seeking a hands-on engineer to join a cutting-edge laser-based systems programme supporting the development and verification of a complex Command & Control system.

The role:

• Lead and support subsystem verification activities across planning, execution, analysis, and reporting
• Design and run test setups and scenarios for complex system use cases
• Support integration, trials readiness, and hands-on testing in lab environments
• Analyse and report data to support system validation and certification
• Work closely with software, test, and proving teams in a fast-paced delivery environment

What we’re looking for:

• Practical, hands-on engineering experience in hardware/software integration and testing
• Understanding of verification and qualification approaches
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with lab test equipment and data analysis tools
• Clear communicator with a structured and detail-oriented mindset
• Background in Electronics, Electrical, Software Engineering or similar
