Job Description

Senior Town Planner \nLocation: London \nHours: Full-time (flexible working options considered) \nWe are working in partnership with a well-established urban planning consultancy to recruit Senior Planner and Associate-level professionals on a permanent basis. \nThis opportunity would suit individuals looking to work across a broad range of UK planning projects within a growing, employee-owned consultancy known for developing talent and offering long-term career progression. \nThe Role \nYou will work closely with senior leadership and a team of chartered planners, supporting a diverse portfolio of planning and development projects.

\n·Involvement in a wide mix of UK-focused planning work, including policy and development \n·Exposure to master planning projects, including Homes England schemes \n·Work on land promotion for private developers \n·Opportunity to contribute to regeneration and strategic planning projects \n·Senior and Associate-level roles will support business development and team growth \n·Associate role will partially cover a maternity leave period starting in September, with scope for longer-term progression \n·Collaborative, office-based working environment in Farringdon \n \nAbout You \nSenior Planner / Associate level: \n·Background in consultancy or developer-side planning \n·Experience delivering planning applications and strategic projects \n·Commercial awareness and interest in business development \n·Ability to contribute to client relationships and team growth \n·MRTPI or working towards chartership is beneficial but not essential depending on level \n·Adaptable, proactive, and team-oriented \nSalary and Benefits \n·Senior Planner: £40,000 - £50,000+ \n·Associate: £50,000 - £60,000+ \n·Competitive salary for Graduate level (dependent on experience) \n·Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) structure \n·Tax-free bonus scheme \n·Salary sacrifice pension scheme \n·Clear progression and structured career development \n \nThe interview process consists of two stages: an initial Teams interview followed by a face-to-face meeting. \nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing consultancy working on high-profile UK projects, with strong support, varied project exposure, and long-term career prospects.
