Senior Town Planner\n Location: London\n\nPenguin Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a well regarded and growing planning consultancy in their\n\nsearch for a Senior Town Planner to join their London office.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Town Planner to take a key role within a dynamic team, working across a varied portfolio of projects including residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Senior Town Planner, you will manage projects through the planning process, providing clear and commercially focused advice to clients.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nManaging planning applications and appeals of varying scale and complexity\n\nPreparing planning statements, site appraisals and policy representations\n\nLiaising with local planning authorities, consultees and stakeholders\n\nProviding strategic planning advice to clients\n\nSupporting and mentoring junior members of the team\n\nAssisting with business development activities\n\nAbout You\n\nThe ideal Senior Town Planner will have:\n\nA degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline\n\nMRTPI status (or working towards)\n\nExperience within a planning consultancy or local authority\n\nStrong knowledge of the UK planning system\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nA proactive and professional approach\n\nWhy Apply?\n\nThis Senior Town Planner role offers the chance to join a respected consultancy in London, with strong career progression and exposure to high quality planning work.\n\nTo find out more about this Senior Town Planner opportunity, please contact Joel Bland at Penguin Recruitment
