Senior Town Planner - Birmingham (Hybrid)\n Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + benefits\n\nAre you an experienced Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career? We're partnering with a highly respected consultancy known for its innovation in land, property, and development services to find a Senior Town Planner to join their growing Birmingham team.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across both public and private sectors, from large-scale regeneration schemes to strategic land promotion. You'll be joining a multidisciplinary environment that values collaboration, flexible working, and professional development.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Senior Town Planner, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality planning advice and project management.

You'll support major planning applications, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the growth of the team and client base.\n\nResponsibilities include:\n\nManaging a varied caseload of planning projects from inception to completion.\n\nPreparing and submitting planning applications and appeals.\n\nUndertaking site appraisals, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement.\n\nProviding strategic advice to clients across commercial, residential, and infrastructure developments.\n\nMentoring junior colleagues and contributing to business development activities.\n\nAbout You\n\nYou'll be MRTPI qualified (or working towards it) with a strong understanding of UK planning legislation and policy.
