You will lead on planning applications, provide strategic advice, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to site appraisals and business development activity.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPreparing and managing complex planning applications\n\nSupporting or leading on site promotion through Local Plans\n\nEngaging with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders\n\nContributing to business development and client relationship building\n\nMentoring junior planners where appropriate\n\nAbout You:\n\nMRTPI qualified or working towards chartered status\n\nStrong understanding of the UK planning system\n\nRelevant experience in consultancy, local authority, or developer environment\n\nProven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines\n\nExcellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills\n\nCommercial awareness and a proactive approach\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established consultancy where you'll play a key role in the continued growth and success of the Birmingham planning team.\n\nInterested in this Senior Town Planner position?
