As our Senior Technical Coordinator, you will be tasked with the control of the complete design process involving the management of consultants, liaison with the relevant statutory and local authorities and other internal and external stakeholders as necessary. Integrity, Caring and Quality\nBTEC HND/HNC in Design, Construction or Civil Engineering.\nExtensive experience working within a technical role at a residential house builder.\nGood level of IT literacy with experience of AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel & Word.\nProven ability in a Senior Technical Coordinator role of delivering design for projects on time, to budget and quality standards with high customer satisfaction results.\nExcellent organization and time management with ability to multitask.\nCommercially aware.\nAbility to make decisions within authority.\nAble to lead and work as a team member.\nExperienced in analysing problems and delivering solutions.\nGood level of communication skills, with the necessity to liaise with internal staff and external bodies.Desirable…\n\nMember of professional body e.g. ICE, CIAT, CIOB\nPrinciple Designer and associated Health and Safety training/ qualifications.\nCSCS card qualification.\nUse of Viewpoint drawing management system.\nProficient use of Auto Cad.\nManagement of technical fees and services cost to complete.\nContinued professional development and keeping up to date with changes within the industry.More about the Senior Technical Coordinator role…\n\nManage multiple sites as agreed with the Technical Director/Manager from design stage to post completion, in line with delivery programme and key dates.\nUndertake the Principal Designer role as defined within the Construction Design & Management Regulation 2015 and completion of all necessary Health, Safety & Environmental documents, in line with Group Policy & procedures.\nCo-ordinate delivery of surveys & reports required for the development and manage associated requirements from design to completion.\nManage the process of obtaining consultant fee proposals and formal appointment documents in accordance with Group procedures.\nCo-ordinate consultants to deliver the civil engineering designs including legal plans and the house type working drawing packs.\nObtaining and collating all ancillary specialist drawings including hot water supply, heating, kitchen, stair, lintels, p.c. ground floors, and precast upper floors.\nUndertaking value engineering assessments and ensure buildability is considered.\nCo-ordinate submission of designs and securing technical approvals for agreements such as S104, S38 & S278 followed by timely completion of legal agreements.\nCo-ordinate utility designs and initial mains laying onto site, ensuring legal agreements completed in timely manner.\nCo-ordinate information and liaise with architects, civil and structural engineers, and landscape architects, ensuring consistency between various designs.\nPrepare all drawings and documents for engineering and superstructure elements for tender, followed by the construction issue and sales handover.\nCoordinate street naming with local authority, complete plot list and distribute internally and externally of the business.\nWhere applicable obtaining Management Company quotations, reviewing, comparing, and providing the Sales & Technical Director with recommendation for appointments.\nAssist in production of Sales brochure, legal and sales handover meetings.\nProvide information for Housing Association contracts and attendance of progress meetings,\nSubmission of all information to NHBC and obtaining approval of same, obtaining SAP Assessments together with PEA' and EPC's, Robust Standard Details and any other requirements.\nAttending and chairing Pre-Start Meetings and briefing all departments on matters related to the engineering and working drawings.\nAssist the Land, Planning & Development teams with advice during the land acquisition stage and assist in the information to discharge of planning conditions.\nTo monitor and report technical & development fees including S106 obligations.\nResolve all technical related queries including conducting site visits and site progress meetings as required.\nAttend departmental meetings as required.\nChair predevelopment meetings with external consultants and internally within the business unit.\nUndertake key aspects of the Principal Designer role as defined within the Construction Design & Management Regulation 2015.Finally, let's tell you a bit more about us…\n\nWe build more than homes, we're making Vistry.
