Senior Technical Consultant - VMware Location: London & Hybrid | Client Facing Role Salary: circa £70,000 to £85,000 package depending on experience A global technology consultancy based in London is urgently looking for a new Senior Technical Consultant with strong experience of large-scale, complex VMware projects to join our Professional Services team. You will specialise in VMware, Storage and Compute consulting, solution design and implementation of complex technical projects. They will pay for you to get Broadcom Knight certified and also give you the training to learn new skills to expand your career further into architecture or cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities
Consult, design, plan and implement complex technical solutions Be client‑facing – Design and deliver VMware implementation services across a wide range of clients Act as a VMware SME – internally with project teams and externally with clients Lead project design workshops on implementations Low Level Designs (LLD), Statement of Works (SoW) and other technical documentation
What You’ll Need
Strong experience with VMware and virtualisation project work Previous client‑facing experience in a Professional Services / Consultancy role Professional certifications (e.g. VCP or Broadcom Knight) Excellent communication skills The ability to provide technical leadership as an SME in VMware Experience of a variety of Storage & Compute technical solutions would be an advantage (Dell EMC / HPE / Netapp) Eligibility for Security Clearance
