Job Description
Title: Senior Technical Accounting Manager
Salary: £90,000 – £100,000 + generous discretionary bonus & benefits
Location: Central London – Hybrid (1 day WFH per week)
Our client is a dual FTSE 250 & NYSE listed Green Energy group headquartered in central London. They are seeking a Senior Technical Accounting Manager to join their expanding finance team.
The ideal candidate will be a Big Four/Top Ten Senior Manager with experience delivering Audit or Accounting Advisory services to US-listed FPIs or businesses in the Energy/Oil & Gas sector.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the group consolidation process, including review and approval of accounting entries.
Oversee the audit process, setting timelines and ensuring timely delivery of audit materials.
Prepare quarterly management reports and provide insightful commentary to senior leadership.
Deliver additional analysis and explanations as needed.
Research complex technical accounting matters and prepare accounting memos for non-routine transactions.
Manage and mentor junior members of the finance team.
Support ad hoc projects as required.
Requirements:
ACA/ICAS/CPA (or equivalent) qualified.
Big 4/Top 10 audit experience is essential.
Experience with Audit or Accounting Advisory for US-listed FPIs or the Energy/Oil & Gas industry is essential.
Strong technical accounting expertise, including IFRS reporting.
Deep understanding of accounting standards, financial compliance, and financial controls.
Highly organised with strong prioritisation and time-management skills.
