Senior Systems Engineer Wanted! Full-Time Permanent Competitive Basic Annual Salary Based in North London Working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 100% Office based during probation period. Requirements Desirable (Not Essential): An understanding of Radar and Radio Systems is desirable, although not essential if other complementary skills demonstrate a capacity to understand new technologies quickly and effectively. Experience of the whole product lifecycle (concept generation, concept demonstration, development, production, and in-service support). Experience of test houses and external verification activities to external standards (MIL STD/Def Stan / IEC). Experience of working with and developing systems using communications protocols. (e.g. RS485, RS232, TCP-IP, CANBus etc.). Experience of working on product development for Naval Platforms. Experience of working on or with Navigation equipment. Experience with common test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and spectrum analysers. An understanding of basic electronics and circuit level fault finding. Experience with common hand tools and soldering. Familiarity with EMC, Electronics and working in an ESD environment. ...
