We’re looking for a Systems Engineer to support the development, validation, and qualification of next‑generation electrical, electromechanical, and smart motor systems. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands‑on engineering environment and enjoys working across disciplines to bring complex products from concept through to qualification.


What You’ll Be Doing


As a key part of our engineering team, you will:

  • Plan and deliver development and qualification testing for electrical and electromechanical systems.
  • Configure and prepare test setups, instrumentation, and rigs, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Execute full V&V test campaigns in line with approved plans and procedures.
  • Produce high‑quality documentation — including Test Plans, Procedures, and Reports — ensuring full traceability.
  • Collaborate with Design, V&V, R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams throughout the test lifecycle.
  • Support external test activities and suppliers, including visits to third‑party test sites.
  • Drive continuous improvement across test equipment, processes, and facility capability.
  • Contribute to root‑cause analysis, risk mitigation, and lessons learned activities.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and adherence to laboratory and risk management protocols.


What You’ll Bring


Required Experience

  • Hands‑on experience in development and/or qualification testing of electrical products.
  • Exposure to mechanical and electromechanical systems testing.
  • Practical experience in test rig setup, instrumentation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong technical documentation skills for V&V activities.
  • Experience working within multi‑disciplinary engineering environments.
  • Familiarity with regulated or safety‑critical industries is a plus.
  • Background in supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement.


Required Skills

  • Solid understanding of electrical systems testing and qualification methods.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical assemblies and basic hydraulics for integrated test setups.
  • Competence in instrumentation selection, configuration, and data acquisition systems.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and requirements.
  • Methodical, structured approach to executing test activities.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical capability.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across a multi‑disciplinary team.
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance standards.


Education

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
