Senior Systems Engineer Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, set hours 08:00-16:30
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Systems Engineer to play a critical role in supporting the design, evaluation and assurance of advanced mission systems within a fast‑paced, high‑technology environment. You will work closely with operational users and engineering specialists, contributing to capability development and safe integration of complex systems.
This position is embedded within a flight test and evaluation environment, offering a unique blend of systems engineering, analysis, and hands‑on support to real‑world aerospace programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide subject matter expertise on mission and avionics systems Lead systems integration, flight test analysis, and associated evaluation activities Apply verification and validation techniques to underpin safety, assurance and airworthiness Define, develop and support test plans, operational analysis tasks, and data‑driven assessments Enhance, develop and assure engineering software tools used for analysis Mentor and supervise engineers within the analysis team, supporting technical development Work collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary environment, including operators, analysts and engineering specialists
