Senior Sushi Chef – London Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum depending on expereince. Schedule: Predominantly Monday to Friday. ( up to 4 weekends a year depending on major events)
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Sushi Chef to join our team in the heart of London. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional who cannot only create exceptional sushi dishes but also lead Sushi Masterclasses to inspire and educate others.
What You’ll Do:
* Prepare high-quality sushi with precision, creativity, and consistency
* Lead engaging and informative sushi-making masterclasses for groups and individuals
* Oversee kitchen operations to maintain high food safety and hygiene standards
* Work closely with management to develop menus and seasonal specials
* Mentor junior chefs and help build a strong, motivated kitchen team
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Senior or Head Sushi Chef
* Strong knife skills and in-depth knowledge of Japanese culinary techniques
* Excellent communication and presentation skills (for teaching classes)
* A passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients and authentic preparation
* Organised, reliable, and a team player
