Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: 5-day week

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled professional to join our close-knit kitchen team.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Sushi Chef to support our kitchen operations. In this role, you will be focused on the core preparation of our sushi and sashimi offerings, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency are met for every dish that leaves the pass.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cut, and fillet a wide variety of fish for sashimi, nigiri, and maki with precision.

Expertly craft a diverse range of sushi dishes to our exacting standards.

Ensure all fish and ingredients are of the highest quality and stored correctly.

Maintain an impeccably clean, organised, and sanitised workstation in line with food safety regulations.

Manage daily mise en place and support with kitchen inventory.

Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure seamless service.

About You (The Ideal Candidate):
You have proven experience as a Sushi Chef in a high-quality establishment.

You possess expert-level skill and a confident, steady hand in fish preparation and cutting.

You have a deep understanding of different fish species and their ideal handling methods.

You are proficient in all aspects of sushi preparation, with a focus on consistency and speed.

You work with a strong, team-oriented attitude and a quiet professionalism.

You thrive in a busy service environment and maintain high standards under pressure.

A valid food hygiene certificate is essential.
